1.Soak urad dal in water for 4-5 hours or overnight.
2.Drain the water and blend the soaked dal into a smooth batter, adding a little water if needed.
3.Add salt to the batter and mix well.
4.Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
5.Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown.
6.Remove the fried vadas and soak them in water for 10 minutes.
7.Squeeze the vadas gently to remove excess water and arrange them in a serving dish.
8.Pour curd over the vadas, followed by meethi chutney and green chutney.
9.Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator before serving.
